Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how JobsList.dev ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Service. By using JobsList.dev, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email, password (stored hashed), and the role you choose (company or professional).
  • Profile content — for professionals: headline, bio, skills, experience, links, and résumés you upload. For companies: company name, description, logo, website, and similar details.
  • Verification documents — if you complete identity/business verification (KYC), the documents you submit.
  • Applications and messages — job applications, cover letters, support tickets, and contact-form submissions.
  • Payment information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive limited billing metadata (such as plan and status) but do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage data — basic technical data such as pages viewed and job views, used to operate and improve the Service.
  • Authentication data — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and avatar from Google.

2. How we use information

  • To provide the Service — create accounts, post and display jobs, process applications, and enable messaging.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions and listing credits.
  • To send transactional and notification emails (such as application updates, job-match alerts, and password resets).
  • To verify companies and protect against fraud, spam, and abuse.
  • To improve and secure the Service.

3. How information is shared

  • Between users as intended — when you apply to a job, the company sees your application and profile; public job listings and company pages are visible to everyone.
  • Service providers — we use trusted third parties to run the Service, including hosting and database (Supabase), payments (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), and authentication (Google sign-in). They process data on our behalf.
  • Legal reasons — we may disclose information to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in (authentication tokens) and to remember preferences such as your theme. Third-party providers (such as our bot-protection and authentication partners) may set their own cookies necessary for their functionality.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can deactivate your account at any time (it is hidden and can be restored by signing back in), or request deletion. Accounts requested for deletion are permanently removed after a 14-day grace period; signing in during that window cancels the deletion. Some records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing (for example under GDPR or CCPA). You can manage much of your data directly in your account settings, or contact us to make a request.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. Private files such as résumés and verification documents are stored with restricted access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by our service providers. By using the Service, you consent to such processing.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will reflect changes by updating the date above; significant changes may be communicated through the Service.
